I love the simplicity of a freshly bloomed flower, where just the day before was a closed bud. I love planting a tree and watching it grow or, watching the birds discover it. My boys and I love to search the beach for treasures - driftwood, shells and smooth rocks to proudly display at home. Do you clip and save the tide chart? Do you know when the next full moon is? I do. It makes me feel a part of something much greater than myself. It keeps thing in perspective. That’s what I love about nature, and the world around me. Simply put, it keeps me grounded.
